NIGHTCAP: What good is it to prefer a book instead of the Author. Rather subtle temptation, huh? A book won't confront about the truths in it, the Author will. We can run the book by not choosing to read it. We look at it but we don't see it. You can avoid the book but you can't avoid the Author who is looking to have a relationship with you. How can you know the Author?
  We choose to make substitutions in our lives to claim false claims that we really know who God is. For example, we serve in the church, in the community, reading Christian books, etc. just for recognition purposes or to check the 'I did it box'. Here is where you miss the point. No amount of worship, deeds, any Christian activity can or will ever replace your relationship with Jesus. God didn't fake it to make it when he created you, so why would you. Know God for yourself. How you may ask, praying to talk and meditate to listen. #GODFORCE
